CBSE releases important notice about annual psycho-social counselling: Check details here – The Times of India


The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced through an official notification that its annual psycho-social counselling will commence on February 1, 2025, and run until April 4, 2025.
According to the notification, the psycho-social counselling initiative aims to ease exam-related stress and assist Class X and XII students as they prepare for their theory exams, starting on February 15, 2025. This free service will be offered in two phases: before, during, and after the exams.

Key features of psycho-social counselling session

  • 24/7 Interactive Voice Response System: Students can call the toll-free IVRS service at 1800-11-8004 for tips on stress-free exam preparation, time and stress management, FAQs, and CBSE contact details. Assistance is available in Hindi and English around the clock.
  • Tele-Counselling Services: A team of 66 trained professionals, including principals, counsellors, special educators, and psychologists, will provide voluntary support from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Saturday. The team includes professionals from India, Nepal, Japan, Qatar, Oman, and the UAE.
  • Podcast/Audio-Visual Content: Students can access podcasts and video resources focused on stress management, preparation strategies, and mental well-being on the official CBSE website.
