[WASHINGTON] The European Union and the US are heading towards a trade deal that would result in a broad tariff of 15 per cent applying to EU goods imported into the US, two diplomats said on Wednesday (Jul 23).
The rate, which could also extend to cars, would mirror the framework agreement the US has struck with Japan. REUTERS
