[SINGAPORE] The following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Monday (Oct 27):
ASL Marine : The shipbuilder on Monday said it was working closely with the authorities regarding a fire at its Batam facility on Oct 15. A total of 13 workers died and 18 were injured when the fire occurred on board a tanker, which was undergoing repairs. ASL Marine added that all work on the tanker has stopped. Shares of ASL Marine rose 5 per cent or S$0.01 to close at S$0.21 on Friday.
mm2 Asia : The entertainment company said on Monday it received an originating claim and statement of claim from Frasers Centrepoint Trust for S$2.6 million. The claim was received on Friday and relates to mm2’s Causeway Point Cathay Cineplexes outlet. Cathay Cineplexes is currently undergoing voluntary liquidation, having ceased operations on Sep 1. Shares of mm2 Asia ended Friday flat at S$0.003.
