The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the results of the Combined Geo-Scientist Main Exam 2024. Candidates who appeared for the examination can visit the official website of the commission, i.e., upsc.gov.in, to check and download their respective results. The UPSC conducted the Geo-Scientist Main Exam 2024 on June 22 and 23, 2024.As per the information, 110 candidates have been recommended for the geologist post, 14 for hydrogeology, 31 for geophysicist, and 39 for chemist or chemical posts.
The official notification reads, ‘The candidature of these candidates is PROVISIONAL subject to their being found eligible in all respects. The candidates would be required to produce the original certificates in support of their claim relating to age, educational qualifications, community, physical disability, EWS etc. at the time of the Personality Test. They are, therefore, advised to keep the said certificates ready.’

Candidates can follow these steps to check the UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Main Result 2024:
Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC, i.e., upsc.gov.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, under the ‘What’s New’ section, click on the link that reads, ‘Written Result: Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination, 2024’.
Step 3: A new page with aPDF file will appear on the screen.
Step 4: Read the notification, and check your result.
Step 5: Save your result, download it and take a printout of it for future reference.

As per the official notification, all the candidates who have qualified have to fill up the Detailed Application Form (DAF) along with the scanned copies of certificates. The commission will soon release the DAF link.
