Indian Air Force (IAF) has opened the application window for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2024 today, May 30. Candidates interested in applying for the Indian Air Force (IAF) recruitment exam for various posts can submit the registration form through the official websites, careerindianairforce.cdac.in and afcat.cdac.in. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on Aug 09, 24, Aug 10, 24, and Aug 11, 24.Candidates can apply for the Flying, Ground Technical, Ground duty non-technical branches, and NCC special entry for the Flying Branch.

AFCAT 2024: Steps to Register

Step 1: Visit the official website of IAF, at https://afcat.cdac.in/AFCAT.
Step 2: On the homepage, go to the news section
Step 3: Click on the ‘registration for AFCAT’ link
Step 4: You will be directed to a new window where you have to enter the required details, and log in.
Step 5: Fill in the required details in the application form and submit.
Step 6: Pay the registration fee.
Step 7: Download the application form for further use.

AFCAT 2024: Vacancy details

The AFCAT 2024 examination is a recruitment drive that aims to fill a total of 317 vacancies at various posts in the department. The candidate applying for the Flying Branch should be 20 to 24 years old and for the Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches, the candidate must be between 20-26 years old. A minimum of 60 per cent in graduation is mandatory to apply for the exam.
