The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released a notice regarding the re-examination of the BPSC 70th Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) for candidates who were scheduled to appear at the Patna examination center. According to the notice, the re-exam for the canceled BPSC 70th CCE will be held on January 4, 2025.
The decision was made during a full-bench meeting of the commission on December 19, 2024, following the cancellation of the BPSC 70th CCE conducted at the Bapu Examination Complex, Patna, on December 13, 2024. In consideration of the candidates’ interests, the BPSC has resolved to proceed with the re-examination.
The official notice reads, ‘It is hereby informed that in the light of the decision taken by the commission, the date of January 4, 2025 (Sunday) is fixed for the re-examination of the cancelled examination of Bapu Examination Complex. Detailed information regarding the said re-examination program will be published soon on the Commission’s website.’ reads the official notice (rough translation).

According to the information, approximately 4.80 lakh candidates registered for the BPSC 70th CCE exam. Candidates who appeared at the Bapu Examination Center alleged that the question paper was leaked, claiming that the seal of the question paper was broken.
