[SINGAPORE] Shares of iFast soared 8.76 per cent on market open on Jul 28 (Monday) after the digital bank and wealth management platform reported a strong Q2 net profit on Friday.
As at 9.02 am, shares soared to an intraday high of S$8.160, with 986,600 shares changing hands. This was 9.97 per cent or S$0.74 higher than the previous closing price of S$7.42.
By 10.28 am, shares were trading at S$8.090, still up 9.03 per cent, with 4.02 million shares transacted.
The company on Friday reported a net profit of S$22.1 million for the second quarter of FY2025, up 37.9 per cent from S$16 million in the same period last year.
Earnings per share were up to S$0.0731 from S$0.0538 for the corresponding period.
