IIM Calcutta tweeted about the fraudulent website on its official X( formally Twitter) handle. It tweeted, “Fraudulent CAT 2024 Registration Website Alert.”
The official notice states to ensure the following points regarding the CAT 2024 website:
- Always verify the URL and ensure that it is the official website of CAT.
- Be cautious of unsecured websites asking for personal information or payments.
- Report any suspicious activity to the CAT help desk at cat2024_helpdesk@iimcat.ac.in
CAT 2024: Important details
IIM Calcutta has opened the registration portal for CAT 2024. Candidates can apply for CAT 2024 until September 13, 2024. Candidates can follow these steps to register for CAT 2024:
Step 1: Visit the official website, i.e., iimcat.ac.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the registration link.
Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen.
Step 4: Register yourself and proceed to fill in the application form.
Step 5: Pay in the registration fee and submit your application.
Candidates can click on this link to apply for CAT 2024.
Once the application window closes, IIM Calcutta will open the correction window and issue the CAT 2024 admit cards on November 5, 2024. The CAT 2024 examination is scheduled for November 24, 2024.
