The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has issued the schedule for the 2025 board exams for Class 8 and Class 9 on its official website, jacexamportal.in. As per the announcement, the Class 8 board exam is scheduled for January 28, with two separate shifts. Meanwhile, the Class 9 exams will take place on January 29 and 30. The first day of the Class 9 exam will have two shifts, followed by a single shift on the final day.
JAC Jharkhand Class 8 Board Exam 2025: Important Details
During the first shift, students will sit for Paper 1, which includes Hindi, English, and an additional language subject. This shift will run from 9:45 am to 1:00 pm. The second shift is set from 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm, where students will take the second paper, covering Mathematics, Science, and Social Science subjects. Schools can access and download the admit cards for the Class 8 board exam from jac.jharkhand.gov.in and distribute them to the students. JAC Jharkhand Class 9 Board Exam 2025: Important Dates
The Class 9 final exam will take place in two shifts on the first day, January 29. The first shift, from 9:45 am to 1:00 pm, will involve the first paper, covering Hindi A, Hindi B, and English. The second shift, scheduled from 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm, will focus on Mathematics and Science papers.
On the second day, the exam will be conducted in a single shift. Students will take the Social Science and, if applicable, other language papers. Each subject will consist of multiple-choice questions worth 40 marks. Students will be provided with 15 minutes to review the question paper. Admit cards will be available for download on the board’s website starting January 20.
