Examination Schedule for Soft Zone Areas
The academic calendar details the exam dates for the soft zone areas of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. The examinations for the academic year 2024-2025 will be conducted as follows:
Class 10th: The exams will commence from the second week of March.
Class 11th: The exams will begin in the last week of March.
Class 12th: The exams are scheduled to start from the first week of March.
The declaration of results for these examinations is also outlined:
Class 10th: Results will be declared in the third week of June.
Class 11th: Results will be announced in the last week of June.
Class 12th: Results will be released in the second week of June.
Examination Schedule for Hard Zone Areas
For the hard zone areas of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, the examination schedule is as follows:
Class 10th: Exams will start from the second week of April.
Class 11th: Exams will begin in the last week of April.
Class 12th: Exams are scheduled to start from the second week of April.
The result declaration dates for the hard zone areas are similar to those of the soft zone areas:
Class 10th: Results will be declared in the third week of June.
Class 11th: Results will be announced in the last week of June.
Class 12th: Results will be released in the second week of June.

JKBOSE has also provided detailed schedules for the registration of students for the academic year 2024-2025:
Class 9th Registration
• Submission of registration return form and fee: From 1st August to 31st August.
• With late fee for first count of 10 days: Up to 10th September.
• With late fee for second count of 10 days: Up to 20th September.
• With late fee for third count of 10 days: Up to 30th September.
Renewal of Registration for Classes 11th and 12th
• With prescribed fee for Class 11th and 12th: From 1st August to 31st August.
• With late fee for first count of 10 days: From 1st September to 10th September.
• With late fee for second count of 10 days: From 11th September to 20th September.
Special Note
For candidates placed under the re-appear/failure category in the Annual Regular Examination of 2024 for Class 10th and 11th, who have been provisionally admitted to Class 11th and 12th, the dates for the renewal of registration will be notified separately. This will occur after the declaration of results for the Annual (Private)/Bi-Annual 2024 session.
