KOLKATA: Manjushree Khaitan, chairman of Kesoram Industries and the youngest daughter of legendary B K Birla, passed away here on Thursday. Khaitan was 69 and is survived by her son-in-law, Anshuman Jalan, and grandchildren. She was the youngest among her siblings – brother Aditya Birla and sister Jayshree Mohta. Khaitan was also the trustee of the Ashok Hall Group of Schools.
Her daughter Vidula Jalan had died in May last year. Khaitan was chairman of Manjushree Plantations and chairperson of Kalamandir.
