To ensure the authenticity of documents submitted by selected students, verification committees have been formed under the supervision of Group Education Officers and Administrative Officers. These committees will examine the documents, and upon successful verification, the student’s admission will be updated online, followed by the issuance of a provisional allotment letter. Final admission will only be confirmed after the completion of the verification process.
Under the RTE Act 2009, children below 14 years of age are entitled to free education. The Maharashtra education department has reserved 25% of seats in private schools for underprivileged children, including those from low-income backgrounds, single-parent households, and orphans.
