The discovery was made during a search operation at Bera’s apartments located in Milan Pally, near the airport. The answer scripts were stored in a trolley bag, prompting the ED to question Bera and her husband about the presence of these documents. Their explanations, according to ED officials, were unsatisfactory, and they are expected to be re-interviewed.
In addition to the answer scripts, the authorities seized various documents related to Ghosh’s properties, including copies of land deeds and tenders. Ghosh, who resigned from his position shortly after a junior doctor was raped and murdered on the campus, was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on September 2. The arrest was linked to alleged financial misconduct at the medical college.
