NEET PG scorecard, counselling schedule expected soon: Check list of important documents here – Times of India



The counselling schedule for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Postgraduate) is yet to be announced. Following the release of NEET PG 2024 results, students are eagerly awaiting details on the counselling process. The NEET PG 2024 scorecard will be available on August 30, 2024. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will oversee the counselling for 50% of All India Quota (AIQ) seats across government, private, and government-aided medical colleges.The schedule will be posted on the MCC’s official website at mcc.nic.in. Candidates must register for counselling, choose their preferred colleges and courses, and lock their choices within the specified deadlines. Seat allotment will depend on factors such as the choices made, availability of seats in selected colleges and courses, and the candidate’s NEET PG rank.
Students should regularly check the MCC website for updates on the NEET PG 2024 counselling process. The NEET PG 2024 results were announced on August 23, 2024. Following the results, several students expressed concerns on social media platform X about the normalization process.
This year, the postgraduate entrance exam was held in two shifts, and normalization was used to standardize the results. Some students have claimed that normalization was not applied correctly, resulting in lower marks and ranks than anticipated.

NEET PG Counselling 2024: Important documents required

To take part in the NEET PG 2024 counselling process, candidates should ensure they have the following documents prepared:

  • NEET PG 2024 admit card
  • NEET PG 2024 scorecard
  • Class X marksheet for date of birth verification
  • Certificate of Internship Completion
  • Permanent or provisional registration certificate from MCI or SMC
  • MBBS marksheet
  • MBBS degree certificate
  • Valid photo ID (not expired)
  • Disability certificate (if applicable)
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)
  • Non-creamy layer certificate (if applicable)

To gain admission to MD, MS, or PG Diploma programs at various universities and institutions across the country, passing the NEET-PG is essential. This requirement also applies to international students seeking to enroll in medical courses in India.
