The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the provisional answer key for NEET UG 2024. Candidates can access it by logging in at exams.nta.ac.in/NEET. In addition to the answer key, the NTA has released scanned images of candidates’ OMR sheet and recorded responses. To view the NEET answer key, candidates need to enter their application number and date of birth.Furthermore, the NTA is accepting objections to the answer key until May 31, with a fee of ₹200 per question. Candidates who are not happy with the NEET UG 2024 provisional answer and OMR grading, are allowed to raise their objection against the same. Valid objections will be reviewed by a panel of experts, and the answer keys will be revised accordingly. The NEET UG result will be prepared on the basis of the revised final answer key.
“Challenges made by the candidates will be verified by the panel of subject Experts. If the challenge of any candidate is found correct, the Answer Key will be revised and applied in the response of all the candidates accordingly. Based on the revised Final Answer Key, the result will be prepared and declared. No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her challenge. The key finalized by the Experts after the challenge will be final. No challenge will be accepted after 31 May 2024 (upto 11:50 P.M.),” reads the official notice.

NEET UG Provisional Answer Key 2024: Steps to Check and Raise Objections

Candidates can follow these steps to check the answer key and raise objections
Step 1: Visit the NTA website at exams.nta.ac.in.
Step 2: Find the NEET UG exam page.
Step 3: Click on the provisional answer key challenge window.
Step 4: Now, choose the test booklet code and enter your login credentials.
Step 5: Select the question you want to challenge and then find the correct answer.
Step 6: Click on ‘Save your Claim and Pay Fee Finally’.
Step 7: Pay the NEET UG answer key challenge fee
Step 8: Download the confirmation page and take a printout for future reference.
