Candidates applying for the Assistant Engineer positions will need to complete a three-stage selection process. This process includes a Preliminary Exam, a Main Exam, and an Interview. The final merit list will be based on the combined scores from the Main Exam and the Interview.
The RPSC AE Preliminary Exam 2024 is structured into two papers. Paper 1 covers compulsory subjects such as General Knowledge, General Science, and topics related to Rajasthan’s geography, economy, and culture. Paper 2 focuses on optional subjects, with candidates choosing between Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering. Both papers consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions, with a total of 400 marks. Each paper is allotted 2 hours, resulting in a total exam duration of 4 hours.
