NTA Reschedules UGC NET 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has revised the schedule for the UGC NET June 2024 examination. While the exams are set to run from 21st August to 4th September 2024, the exam originally scheduled for 26th August has been moved to the following day, 27th August 2024. This rescheduling was done to accommodate Shri Krishna Janmashtami, which falls on 26th August 2024.
The UGC NET June 2024 examination will be conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format across various cities in India.The exam is set to cover 83 subjects, with the testing window spanning from 21st August to 4th September 2024. Despite the change in the date for the 26th August exam, the rest of the schedule will remain unchanged, as per the public notice dated 2nd August 2024.
Candidates are advised to keep an eye on the official NTA websites, https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in and www.nta.ac.in, for any further updates. The notification regarding the intimation of the exam city centre has already been made available on these websites.

It is important to note that the intimation slip for the examination city, which was released on 12th August 2024, is not the admit card. This slip provides advance information regarding the city in which the candidate’s examination centre will be located, thereby facilitating their preparation and travel arrangements. The actual admit card for the UGC NET June 2024 exam will be issued at a later date.
