Essential qualifications
To be eligible for the Medical Officer (MO) positions, candidates must meet the following qualifications: They should hold a graduate degree in Medicine and Surgery from a recognized university or any institution acknowledged by the Medical Council of India. Additionally, candidates must be registered as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council within the Indian Union. Knowledge of Hindi or Sanskrit is also required. Preference will be given to candidates who possess an MD/MS degree or a postgraduate diploma approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI).

UHSR medical officer selection process 2024
The selection process for the 777 Medical Officer (MO) HCMS Group-A positions will be based on a scheme of marks allocation. Candidates will be assessed through a written test worth 100 marks. Additionally, a postgraduate degree will earn a candidate 14 marks, while a postgraduate diploma will add 10 marks. If a candidate holds both a diploma and a degree, only the degree marks will be considered. Experience in professional work and service in any government or government-aided health institution, board, or corporation will be evaluated, awarding up to 10 marks, with 2 marks given for each year of service.
UHSR medical officer salary 2024
Appointed Medical Officers (MOs) will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500 (FLP-10). In addition to the salary, candidates will benefit from various perks and allowances.
