To pass the UP Board exams in 2024, students must achieve a minimum score of 33% in each subject, including both theory and practical components.

For the UP Class 10 board exams, 89.78% of students passed, which represents a slight decrease of 0.23% compared to the previous year. A total of 29,47,311 students registered for the exams. Girls outperformed boys, with a pass rate of 93.34% compared to 86.64% for boys. Additionally, 1,84,986 students did not appear for the exams.
In the UP Class 12 board exams, 25,77,997 students were registered, and 1,30,022 students did not appear. The overall pass percentage was 82.60%, with girls achieving a pass rate of 88.42% and boys at 77.78%. Last year, 75.52% of the 27,68,180 students passed the UP Intermediate board exams.
