UP Police Constable 2024 Hall Ticket: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) is set to release the admit cards for the UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam 2024 on August 20. Candidates who have registered for the exam can download their admit cards from the official website at uppbpb.gov.in, using their registration number and date of birth as login credentials.
The UP Police Constable exam is scheduled for August 23, 24, 25, 30, and 31, 2024, across 67 exam centers in the state.The exam will be conducted in two shifts: the first from 10 AM to 12 noon and the second from 3 PM to 5 PM. Originally planned for February 17 and 18, the exam was postponed due to paper leak allegations. The board had earlier issued exam city intimation slips and shared the guidelines for exam day.
The UP Police recruitment drive aims to fill 60,244 constable vacancies, with allocations as follows: 24,102 for unreserved candidates, 6,024 for the economically weaker section (EWS), 12,650 for scheduled caste (SC), 1,204 for scheduled tribe (ST), and 16,264 for other backward classes (OBC).

Step 1: Visit the official UPPRPB website at uppbpb.gov.in.
Step 2: Look for the “UP Constable Hall Ticket” link on the homepage.
Step 3: Click the link to open the admit card page.
Step 4: Enter your registration number or application number, and date of birth or password.
Step 5: Submit the required details.
Step 6: The UP Police Constable admit card for 2024 will appear on the screen.
Step 7: Download and print the admit card for exam day.
UP Police Constable 2024 Hall Ticket: What is the exam pattern?
The written exam will consist of objective-type questions, totaling 300 marks, and will last for two hours. The exam will cover four subjects: General Knowledge, General Hindi, Numerical and Mental Ability, and Mental Aptitude, IQ, and Logical Ability. There will be 150 questions, each carrying two marks. A negative marking of 0.5 marks will be applied for each incorrect answer.
UP Police Constable 2024 Hall Ticket: What is the selection process?
The selection process for UP Police Constables involves several stages. To advance, candidates must meet the cut-off marks at each stage. The PET and PST exams are qualifying in nature, and the final merit list will be based on marks obtained in the written exam.

  • Written Exam: The UPPRPB will conduct the written exam to shortlist candidates. The exam will consist of 150 questions worth 300 marks.
  • Document Verification and Physical Standard Test (PST): Candidates who qualify in the written exam will proceed to the DV and PST stages. Original documents will be verified, and a Physical Measurement Test (PMT) will be conducted for male candidates.
  • Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Candidates who pass the PST will advance to the PMT, which includes a running event.
